Chris Lundy is a Modern Illuminist artist currently living in Breckenridge, CO. He spent the early years of his life in Seattle, Washington, where his journey into the world of art began. His early work was more abstract and surrealistic as his inspirations came from the works of Salvador Dali and Vincent Van Gogh. Lundy later relocated to the beaches of Florida and continued his journey through the art world. Wanting to expand his knowledge of color and different mediums, Lundy was eager to experiment. These experimentations led to the creation of artwork that resembles blown glass on canvas. Each piece is rich in depth, color, and multi dimensional layers. Utilizing epoxy resin and unique techniques, Lundy is creating art that is truly remarkable and cutting edge.

The main objective of my artwork is to open the mind of the viewer to a new perspective on reality. I use all of my capabilities to create something that can be in more dimensions than one to try to expand the mind past the conventional confines that we experience in everyday reality. I love the use of layering and contrasting colors to please the eyes and to allow the viewer a sense of calming inspiration. I put all of my heart into my work and my passion surely shines through every single piece I create. I love this beautiful Earth on which we live and I choose to reflect the love I have onto canvas for all the world to see. I hope you enjoy my work and that it will stand as a point of inspiration in you mind and in your hearts for years to come.
